task schedule clm-channel-diff stuck

Problem description

Hello,

I updated to version 2026.01 on March 6, for your information, and I've noticed that the clm-channel-diff task, scheduled daily at 6 a.m., never completes, which then prevents me from performing life cycle promotions.

I can only see a history up to March 5 in the Uyuni interface, so I don’t know if the issue was already present before the update to 2026.01, but in any case, my lifecycle promotions have not been working since this week unless I restart the application, which consequently stops the clm-channel-diff task.

What exactly is the purpose of this task, and how can I determine what might be preventing it from running?

Useful logs

no info in /var/log/rhn/rhn_taskomatic_daemon.log
I just look that promotion lifecycle don't start if clm-channel-diff is running

Hello,
For about two weeks now, I've had this task that just won't finish, and I get the impression that my lifecycle builds aren't running anymore while this task is running.
Could there be a connection?
