[Feature]: Add Antigravity CLI (antigravity-cli) as a provider #3056
Description
Activity
This suggestion aligns with the discussion started in #1983 (comment) regarding adding support for Antigravity.
I would really appreciate the addition of Antigravity CLI as a provider, for me at least that would allow me to combine all my different AI subs/free access into T3 code.
I saw on the stable release that there was a Gemini provider shown as "Coming Soon" but that isn't present on the nightly build - I hope this isn't an indication that support for Antigravity isn't coming, rather a UI change or simply due to the migration of Gemini CLI to Antigravity CLI.
i really want it as a feature too! i tried implementing it myself, with no success. i'm starting to believe agy is lacking some features it needs to be supported by T3code
I also want this as a feature since i got the sub for free for a year, since im a student, i know gemini models are bad compared to antrophic and openai models but i would problably just use it in random questions to not waste my other subs tokens, also to use the opus and sonnet from there
Hey @juliusmarminge, is supporting gemini / agy / generic ACP in the roadmap?
I'm not proceeding with contributing this as:
- It's a feature (clearly stated I must verify it's something you want to support here - https://github.com/pingdotgg/t3code/blob/main/CONTRIBUTING.md)
- It's most likely a big PR. (again unsolicited big PR isn't a nice thing 😄 )
- Not sure if this is the direction you're headed product wise (maybe a generic ACP adapter? then we can connect gemini or any other ACP supporting harness?)
I've had a crack at an implementation proof of concept - admittedly completely AI generated and the code is utter slop, but it does seem to work - a lot of issues I still have, but the basic functionality is working and theoretically, it can support most of the features the other providers can (although, like opencode and cursor, not all the ones that codex and claude do).
It was implemented by talking to the
language_serverbinary that ships inside the desktop app - the CLI also ships the samelanguage_serverbut it's compiled into the agy binary so can't run without the TUI.The protocol to talk to the
language_serverwas reverse engineered as there is obviously no documentation on the language server. It's a rather fragile implementation and clearly not intended by Google, but it's the best of the bad bunch I think, between that, programatic calling (think -p or exec), and scraping the TUI itself.I'd definitely be interested in a proper implementation making it's way into T3 Code.
Also disclaimer that while I wrote this by hand, I haven't manually verified the implementation nor consider anything here as fully researched - it's just my brief experience messing around I wanted to share

Interrested by this as well.
Plus google models are becoming better recently
A little pump to this request from my part. I know Theo likes to clown on Google models lol (deserved tbh), but I happen to have a free Google AI Pro account and would really like to give it some use along with the rest of the big guys.
I would like this implemented as well because I have a Google AI Pro account and want to use it in the t3code.
I've been using Antigravity for about three weeks and the iteration speed is great once it has solid direction.
Having Antigravity alongside OpenAI, Claude, OpenCode, and Grok in T3 Code would cover pretty much the entire standard stack. Pairing fast engines like Antigravity and Grok for quick boilerplate with GPT and Claude for logic and direction works really well in practice.
Having support right in T3 Code would make switching to it a lot smoother as the platform continues to improve.

NOW IT''S #4995
I closed it because I did a bad commit there, so I restored that.@umarfaruq0z don't hesitate to rebase instead
We need this @t3dotgg

Reacted by Micah WadeReacted by Malix - Alix Brunet@indishere @hadnet you could just PR instead of begging for people to do free work for you.
This is not how open source works. And also, you would need to harass Google to change this:
https://antigravity.google/terms :
- You must not abuse, harm, interfere with, or disrupt the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, using the Service in connection with products not provided by us. Using third party software, tools, or services to access the Service (e.g. using OpenClaw with Antigravity OAuth) is a breach of this Agreement. Such actions may be grounds for suspension or termination of your account.
Why can’t I use third party software (e.g. Claude Code, OpenClaw, OpenCode) with my Antigravity login?
Using third party software, tools, or services to access Antigravity is a violation of our Terms of Service, and severely degrades the experience for legitimate product users. Such actions may be grounds for suspension or termination of your account. If you would like to use a third party coding agent with Gemini, we recommend using a Vertex or AI Studio API key.

Also, we're not begging for people to do this. We're contributing to improve the product for everyone.
I pinged Theo and commented here so Theo and the maintainers can see that people are looking for this feature and that improves T3 Code.
If you're going to be here insulting people for bumping this to get attention and hopefully improve T3 Code, the doors are open.
P.S.: I can do it by myself but it's going to be difficult as it's not OSS and I don't have experience working with adapters. I also do not want to contribute code that has bugs.
Reacted by hadnetNvm @NitayRabi and everyone, I think we should close this issue because Google is now enshittificating their CLIs and their legal terms are too broad to have anything google AI sub in T3 Code:
Antigravity
“Using third party software, tools, or services to access the Service … is a breach of this Agreement.”
And Google explicitly gives the OAuth example:
“using OpenClaw with Antigravity OAuth”
Pure Evil at it's finest.
Google CLI
“Directly accessing the services powering Gemini CLI … using third-party software, tools, or services … is a violation.”
Their FAQ makes the OAuth part even clearer:
“harvest or piggyback on Gemini CLI’s OAuth authentication”
@indishere @hadnet you could just PR instead of begging for people to do free work for you.

Nobody is begging, you idiot. I know you’re just a programmer who can’t tell words apart, but ASKING isn’t the same as BEGGING. You need to go back to elementary school and learn how to talk to people, not just Codex.
Should've roasted more but that's good enough lmao.

This is begging. You both are begging.
Go submit the fucking PR.I have verified you both never worked on any relevant open source software so it can be genuine ignorance but next time, please just put a thumbs up on the issue body instead
And I'll let @indishere humiliate himself with this comment on X he posted right before #3056 (comment) :
@Malix_Labs Please also call out everyone else that requested the same💔

True. Didn't realize that until Malix pointed it out and I agree: #3056 (comment)
@Malix-Labs If you can stop crashing out, that'd be the kind of behavior we'd find in a man.
No idea why he's not accepting it and moving on with life.

IMBECILE.
I did not know that word even existed but it somehow fits him perfectly.

Proposal
Opening this as an issue first to gauge interest before drafting an implementation.
I'd like to propose adding Antigravity CLI (
antigravity-cli) as a supported provider in T3 Code.Similar to Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode, Antigravity operates as a command-line agent capable of conducting repository analysis, editing files, running terminal commands, and orchestrating subagents.
Integrating
antigravity-cliwould allow T3 Code users to run Antigravity as their backend coding agent directly within the T3 Code GUI.Suggested Integration Shape
AntigravityDriver/AntigravityAdapterto map event streams, tool invocations, and token logs over the WebSocket connection.antigravityas a supported provider kind, wiring up standard CLI checks and configurations.antigravity-cliis installed and authenticated) and gracefully capture stream failures.docs/providers/antigravity.md.Let me know if this is something you'd be open to supporting.
