what do we want to get out of this skill? once the agent figures out the api, what next? (these skills are installed with parallel-cli so high intent users that already know about parallel). maybe this fits into as a skill in our cookbook repo? I'm working on enabling skills there |

This is supposed to help first time users with their configuration and
setup - in some cases I think it might also be used to set up/configure
APIs for evals if customers are doing them on their own. I think it could
be useful in the cli as a first touch point to guide users toward an API -
we hear and see often from customers that they start in the wrong place
with misconfiguration.

yeah, good point on what happens after it picks the API. I added a section so if someone’s asking to build an integration, it keeps going through implementation and verification. If they just want advice, it gives them the recommendation and relevant quickstart. I’d lean toward keeping it here alongside migrate-to-parallel. Knowing about Parallel doesn’t necessarily mean knowing which API or config to use, and Supriya’s docs PR lets people install it straight from the API chooser page too. We can link to it from the cookbook once you’ve got skills set up there, so there’s only one copy to maintain. |
