Each proof at tag machine-code-proof comes back to main once the core library can do what it uses. One file of checks per proof, under @ether/poc/needs/, written as the library itself writes (records as named parts in brackets, as Ray.ray's enumerate and $/Deflate.project.ray do; texts joined with ,, §5.1).

Main at 5d78690 removed the seed (@ether/v0.ts, 24cac41): the language now compiles itself (@ether/ray/bootstrap/.entrypoint.mjs FILE compiles a file and prints what its main answers), and it has no test report and no library yet, so these checks cannot be counted on main. Run on it, interop.ray answers 0 and machine.ray 12; deflate.ray and $/Deflate.project.ray trap. The counts below are the last ones measured, on the seed.

On the seed at c1b9bed (the same counts as at 9e18ed6; NE11 respelled sort(key), as main renamed sort_by; NE12 green since 13c4c9b; NE25 names its fields' types, name: String, as main's headers read them):

  • deflate.ray, 16 of 17. Green since 13c4c9b: NE12, a record of named parts in brackets keeps its names. Open: NE5 binary(width), which waits on how bits are written (Numbers.md in docs: the design choices the core needs for the proofs #27).
  • interop.ray, 4 of 8. Green: NE20 texts joined, NE21 a choice, NE22 ??, NE25 a class written as a pattern reads a text into its fields. Open: matching a pattern, reading text by a set of rules, numbers below zero, wrapping at 32 bits.
  • machine.ray, 1 of 9. Green: NE41 reverse on a text. Open: bits as text and back, base 16, bitwise, shifts, shapes over bits, given values.
  • $/Deflate.project.ray: none of DF1 to DF9 (nor DF20 to DF23) yet; its header (line 2) reads without an error since 9e18ed6; the first error is now at line 7, .lengths.enumerate{.value > 0} (nothing in what it is read on reads >); its body (lines 74, 78) reads without one since f8fb8fd.

How each gap is meant to close: #27 (@ether/spec/design/). Run on the seed (c1b9bed or before) from @ether/v0.ts: node --import tsx src/language.ts -t --threads 1 ../ray/bootstrap/.entrypoint.ray3 ../poc/needs/<proof>.ray.
