Description
Describe the bug
As a non admin user with Editor rights (not Admin), when trying to add a photo from a Shared Space to an Album, the action fails with a "Warning" notification: "File cannot be added to the album". The photo is not added.
To reproduce
- Log in as a non admin user
- Open a Shared Space and select a photo
- Try to add that photo to an Album (via the "Add to Album" action)
- Observe the resulting notification
Expected behavior
A non admin user should be able to add a photo from a Shared Space they have access to into an Album, at least when they have sufficient permission (Editor), or receive a specific, actionable explanation if this is intentionally restricted.
Actual behavior
A "Warning" notification appears stating "File cannot be added to the album", and the photo is not added, with no further explanation of why.
Impact
This blocks a basic organizational workflow for non admin users: moving or copying photos they can already see in a Shared Space into their own Albums. Combined with earlier related reports about non admin album and tagging limitations, this continues to show that core organizing actions are unreliable or blocked for non admin roles in Shared Spaces..
Screenshots
