feat(teams): tell invitees what joining gets them in the invite email - #8550
Conversation
Team invites rarely become joins: 14% of invites sent July to September ended in a join, and joins came within a day or not at all. Invitees who click through mostly finish (93% of those who start onboarding from the link reach the team step), so the loss is in the email, which only said "Your team is on Macro." and "Join team". invite_users_to_team now derives an InviteePlan the way join_team grants entitlements: Pro from an enterprise team or one with a subscription, including an owner's active subscription linked during the invite, and Free otherwise. A free team in good standing without a subscription stays Free, because joining it grants no Pro seat. The email names the inviter and team, says what Macro is, states "Pro is included" or "Free to join", names the team on the button, asks the invitee to accept with the invited address (other addresses can't accept), and adds a pasteable link and a "not expecting this?" line. Payloads queued before deploy have no plan and read as Free, which stays true: joining never costs the invitee.
The team invite metadata gained an optional inviteePlan, so the notification service's OpenAPI spec changed. Regenerated the web client, the SDK specs and types, the SDK reference, and the code-mode SDK documentation from it.
Emailed team invites now say "Pro is included" or "Free to join" depending on what joining grants. Note it in the team membership section, with desktop and phone renders of both variants.

Why
Team invites rarely turn into teammates. In PostHog, 14% of team invites sent July–September ended in a join (51 of 355; domain auto-joins send no PostHog event, so this is a floor), and joins happen within a day or not at all. Invitees who click through mostly finish: 93% of those who start onboarding from an invite link reach the team step, and 79% end up on the team. The loss is in the email, which said only "Your team is on Macro." and "Join team".
How it works
The invite records what joining would give the invitee, derived the way
join_teamgrants entitlements, and the email renders from it:What
