What changed in this PR
Restores the shared E2E model’s context window between tests, preventing one client’s settings from affecting later tests without changing product behavior.
Changes:
- Records the initial context window after a clean warm-up.
- Reloads the model when later tests encounter a changed window.
- Simplifies README runtime wording.

Since #684 the daemon honors a request's num_ctx. Cline's Ollama provider sends 32768, so the shared daemon reloads the warmed 262144 model at 32768 and every later test runs at that window. Hermes then refuses to start (64K minimum) and the qwen prompts overflow, failing 7 of 8 E2E targets on main. This is deterministic, not a flake. Record the window warm_model loads the model with, and reload the model before a test unless it has at least that window. Add daemon::running_context_length to read the window without loading an idle model. A live daemon that will not unload the model fails the warm-up rather than set the baseline. Also shorten the README's runtime wording.

warm_model()callsrestore_model_window()immediately beforerun_launch(). When the model is belowDEFAULT_WINDOW, an unload error or failed reload is only logged. The test then starts the E2E launch without the promised window. Why main is red
Not a flake. Since #684 the daemon honors a request's
num_ctx, and Cline's Ollama provider sends 32768 (itsollamaApiOptionsCtxNumdefault, checked incline@2.18.0). The e2e suite shares one daemon warmed at 262144, so after the Cline test the model is reloaded at 32768 for every later test (daemon log:loaded with a context of 262144; unloading it to load it with 32768):launch_hermes_with_model:context window of 32,768 tokens, which is below the minimum 64,000 required by Hermes Agent.launch_qwen_with_model:request (38105 tokens) exceeds the available context size (32768 tokens). That failed 7 of 8 E2E targets on the latest main run.
Fix
tests/launch_e2e.rs:warm_modelrecords the window the model loads with; before each test the model is reloaded unless it has at least that window (an idle model loads at the default). A live daemon that will not unload the model fails the warm-up instead of setting a wrong baseline.daemon::running_context_length: reads the window from/api/pswithout loading an idle model (split out ofloaded_context_length).Verification
