cannot install with python3.15 on macos (because of xapian-bindings) #20
Description
It seems that I no longer can install xapian-bindings on macos with python3.15 (ninemoreminutes/xapian-bindings#13). Is it possible to use notmuch-sync without these bindings?

Yes, xapian is only used for efficiency to make listing all message IDs faster. The linked PR removes this -- could you give it a go please? Note that if you use the delete functionality, it will take a lot longer to run.

Great -- I'll close this for now, assuming that the upstream problem will be fixed at some point. When that has happened, I'll close the PR too as the version that uses the xapian bindings is much faster.
