Summary

• Blog posts show their featured image under the title and meta line, cropped to 2:1 (832×416 on desktop, about 195px on mobile), eager-loaded with fetchpriority="high" and a responsive srcset.
• JPG uploads get WebP sub-sizes (quality 80). The 1024px size of a test graphic is 15 KB against a 65 KB JPG.
• The SEO Framework's og:image / twitter:image are pointed back at the original JPG, because the format filter also converts the full-size file and TSF would otherwise emit .webp.

Test plan

• imagewize.test post with a JPG featured image: figure renders, src and srcset are WebP, og:image and twitter:image are the JPG
• Screenshots at 1440px and 390px
• After release, wp media regenerate --only-missing on production (back up first); spot-check og:image on a few posts
• Check WooCommerce product images still look right (the filter applies to all JPG uploads)
