Replaced printf with low-level write for output.
This reverts commit b93a237.
Set pointer to NULL after freeing memory to prevent dangling pointer, and can maybe avoid seg fault
Updated README to clarify struct definition and added information about pointers.

I main;y fix you're code from Assignment 19, which will fix dangling pointers, but sorry for the mistake of turn assignment 1 from bwgineer to low-level. I don't know what I'm doing, but at least Assignment 19 is fixed; it could be wrong, so another fellow teammate can help, right?
