Firefox extension that exports your Coverflex meal voucher transactions as a CSV file.
I only needed the meals part of ilbonte's coverflex-downloader, so I wrote this stripped-down Firefox-only version. Credit for the token-handling approach goes to the original project.
- Firefox
- A Coverflex account with a meal vouchers pocket
This extension is not signed and I'm not planning to distribute it. It only exists for my own use. If you want to run it, load it as a temporary add-on and re-load it after browser restarts.
- Open Firefox and go to
about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox - Click Load Temporary Add-on...
- Select the
manifest.jsonfrom this folder
Temporary add-ons are removed when Firefox restarts, so you'll have to load it again after a restart.
- Log in to my.coverflex.com
- Click the extension icon in the toolbar
- Pick a date range (default is the current year) and click Download CSV
- Choose where to save the file
If you get "No Coverflex session found", make sure you have a my.coverflex.com tab open where you're logged in.
Columns: id,date,type,status,payee,amount,currency,is_debit
Dates are YYYY-MM-DD. Amounts are euros with 2 decimals; debits (purchases) are negative, credits/topups positive.
The extension grabs the Coverflex auth token from the site's own API requests, or — if it hasn't seen one yet — reads it from the localStorage of your open Coverflex tab (the same key the Coverflex web app uses). It then calls /pockets to find your meals pocket and /movements for the transactions, and builds the CSV locally. Everything stays in the browser; the token is kept in memory only.
webRequest— capture the auth token from Coverflex's own requestsscripting— read the token from localStorage of an open Coverflex tabtabs— find your open Coverflex tabdownloads— save the CSV- host access to
my.coverflex.comandmenhir-api.coverflex.com— token reads and API calls
- "No Coverflex session found": open
my.coverflex.com, log in, reload the page, retry - "Coverflex session expired": reload
my.coverflex.comto refresh the token, then retry - "No meal pocket found": your account doesn't have a meal vouchers pocket (or it isn't active yet)
