Summary

Releases githits 0.34.0 and @githits/mcp 0.34.0 (minor, MCP minor aligned with the CLI).

The range v0.33.0..main and mcp-v0.33.0..main contains only #500, and its two fragments are consumed here:

  • Added: live progress for research and get_example (minor, both artifacts). MCP hosts that request progress get notifications/progress while these tools run. @githits/mcp adds the optional progress option and RelayReceiver, and now depends on ws.
  • Fixed: no refresh attempt for project API keys (patch, both artifacts).

Files changed:

  • versions in package.json, packages/mcp/package.json, server.json and the MCP workspace entry in bun.lock;
  • regenerated plugin manifests;
  • new CHANGELOG.md sections for both artifacts;
  • consumed fragments removed.

Public skills need no update: progress doesn't change any commands, tool arguments or guidance.

Test plan

  • bun run plugins:generate and bun run plugins:check: 10 assets validated
  • bun test: 6513 pass, plus one existing local-only failure (eval/agentic/upgrade-review/score.test.ts needs Python tomllib)
  • bun run typecheck, root and @githits/mcp builds
  • bun run smoke:mcp:built: registration smoke passes
  • bun run validate:packages: fails locally only at tarball extraction on Windows (GNU tar treats C: as a remote host); left to CI on Linux

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Release githits 0.34.0 and @githits/mcp 0.34.0, consuming the live MCP
progress and project-key refresh fragments into versioned changelog
sections. Bumps both package manifests, server.json, the MCP workspace
version in bun.lock and the generated plugin manifests.
