License choice

I'll need to implement something similar for a recent project. However, as I can't use GPL licensed code, I won't be able to leverage your work. That's disappointing.

Was there a particular reason you decided to use a GPL license for this, rather than the BSD license that ServiceStack has?

No reason at all. I've replaced the GPL with a BSD license.
