Backend engineer working on payment compliance and AML name-screening systems, mostly in Go and Java.

Over the past year I've worked on a multi-provider payment ingress service handling REST, SOAP and ISO 20022 flows, and on the name-matching engine behind sanctions screening: phonetic encoding, non-Latin name support, and similarity scoring.

I like understanding how systems behave in production, not just getting them to work. Lately that means Go architecture patterns, Java concurrency, and getting comfortable with Kubernetes and GitOps.
