Describe your issue
Opening a ghostel session in a separate workspace opens the previous buffer from another workspace
Claude identified the line:
|
(window (get-buffer-window buffer-name))) |
and claims it should be using ghostel-buffer-name like the following:
(let ((buffer (get-buffer ghostel-buffer-name))
(window (get-buffer-window ghostel-buffer-name)))
I did try that fix, and it is working now.
Steps to reproduce
- Open doom emacs
- Open any file from one project, use
SPC o t to toggle a ghostel session
- Use
SPC TAB N to create a new workspace
- Open a file in another project dir
- Use
SPC o t to toggle a ghostel session
Expected
The buffer is based on safe-persp-name and so it opens the buffer specific to the workspace or creates a new shell buffer.
Actual
The last ghostel session is opened regardless of the active workspace

I am writing this issue myself, as I don't think anyone actually enjoys communicating with someone else's agent 🙂
