Hyperduck is a fork of Hypergoogle by Thomas O'Brien but using DuckDuckGo as the search engine.
Hyper extension that lets you open a DuckDuckGo search from the terminal.
(The gif below is courtesy Thomas/hypergoogle; the process is the same).
Install Hyper and add hyperduck to plugins in ~/.hyper.js.
Highlight some text and you should get the search input populated with your selection.
