Two questions for the author/maintainer

1. The container hasn't been built in almost two years, can you build/push a new container to dockerhub that has newer[ish] versions of software?
2. Would you consider switching from re to regex in the python check/in code?
   I want to be able to write a branch_regex like ^(?|(?<feature>master)|(?<feature>main)|feature\/(?<feature>(.+)))$ with the goal of setting all of our feature branches and our main/master branch.
   The branch_reset feature in regex appears to be the magic sauce that is missing in re.
   More than willing to submit a PR if you're receptive.
