The new docs match the implementation. I checked the default, the 85% / 64k start conditions, the rules for discarding a stale summary, manual vs. overflow compaction, waiting for an in-progress summary, and the in-memory lifetime against packages/core/src/session/compaction.ts and the config wiring. I have no concerns.
The public API is unchanged: this PR only adds docs for an existing config key.
