Owner

Proof

Proof: Head 4c5325ac502d14c12259d6c50bd9a3ed2a480de3. Comment-id check re-run locally on that file: 34 unique discussion_r and issuecomment ids; 33 matched the 2026-10-16 GitHub fetch of issues #183-#201 and review comments on PRs #237-#244, and discussion_r4285216833 was confirmed on the pull comment API (cursor[bot], 2026-10-15T15:51:46Z). CI on that SHA: ci pass (run 38976967519), End-to-end and Lighthouse pass (run 38976967619), Analyze pass (run 38976967739), semgrep pass (scan 248254708). Greptile Review pass on that SHA (summary comment 6225877596, confidence 5/5, no new inline comments). CodeRabbit added no new findings on that SHA. Its included review was rate limited at 22:47Z after a manual @coderabbitai review, a second manual request was posted at 23:30Z, and thread r4299940795 is resolved.

What

Adds docs/agents/feedback-census.md, a census of recurring pitfalls and preferences from:

CodeRabbit's grouping note on the first review is fixed in 02d98f1: the #239 ingest overwrite and the #240 rate-limit scope overlap are separate themes. 4c5325a records the two optional #242 P3 notes and states that auto-review is skipped, a manual @coderabbitai review runs, and CodeRabbit is not a required gate.

Why

Cleanup step 1 (AP-20261016-01) needs one factual list before later steps turn repeated rules into CI checks or verify skills. This pull request contains only that document.

How to test

  • Commands run: the comment-id check named in Proof. pnpm gate was not run locally; required CI on the head is named in Proof.
  • Manual steps: read the theme counts and confirm each linked comment is the stated finding.

Screenshots (UI changes)

  • Desktop: n/a
  • Mobile: n/a

Checklist

  • Tests added or updated, or not needed
  • pnpm gate passes locally
  • Commit messages follow Conventional Commits (feat:, fix:, docs:, chore:, ...)
  • Docs updated (README.md, docs/**, content/README.md) if behavior changed
  • No secrets committed; .env* stays untracked and placeholders only

Accessibility (UI changes)

  • Every new control is reachable and operable by keyboard
  • Focus stays visible on every focusable element
  • Headings form one ordered outline with a single h1
  • Images and icons carry text alternatives, or are marked decorative
  • Contrast meets 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and UI boundaries
  • prefers-reduced-motion is honored by any new animation
  • pnpm --filter @synac/e2e test:e2e passes against a local stack

Content changes

  • pnpm content:check run locally and passing
  • No hand edits under content/generated/; bundles regenerated with pnpm ingest
  • For a new source: license terms, contentMode, attribution requirements, and the public license statement are all filled in
  • Every new or changed definition carries a citation

Content checkboxes are n/a: no content bundle changes. The local e2e checkbox is n/a: no UI change. Required CI, including End-to-end and Lighthouse, passed on the head named in Proof.

Summary by Sourcery

Document recurring review and ownership feedback to provide a factual baseline for future validation checks and workflow improvements.

Enhancements:

  • Add a documented census of recurring review findings, owner preferences, approval gates, and follow-up check candidates across recent issues and pull requests.

Documentation:

  • Document the scope, counting methodology, recurring themes, source references, and excluded feedback behind the cleanup effort.

Collect the pitfalls and preferences flagged on the August taxonomy
issues, recent Greptile and CodeRabbit threads, and the #242
PR Checker verdict, for later cleanup checks.

📝 Summary

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Added a feedback census describing its review sources, counting rules, and distribution across ten themes.
    • The document summarizes review findings, owner preferences, and feedback excluded from the census.
    • It also lists candidate areas for future checks; these are proposals only and do not add or change product behavior.

The pull request adds a feedback census document. It records the census scope and counting rules, summarizes findings across ten themes, and lists candidate checks that do not add checks.

The census may misdirect later cleanup by grouping deployment-compatibility guidance under stale writes. This documentation-only issue is low risk, but the theme should be corrected or the mismatch accepted before relying on the census.

The description includes all required template sections and explains the scope, purpose, validation steps, and checklist status. The issue reference after "Closes #" is empty, and pnpm gate was not run, but these omissions do not make the description incomplete.

A rabbit reads the census page,
And hops through themes from stage to stage.
Nine checks are noted, not put in place,
While sources find their proper space.
Then carrots crunch; the notes are done!

Reviewer's Guide

This documentation-only PR adds a traceable feedback census that consolidates recurring review and owner guidance into counted themes, preserves source links and scope decisions, and proposes follow-up CI or workflow checks for later implementation.

File-Level Changes

Change Details Files
Adds a sourced census of recurring review findings and owner preferences, organized by theme with explicit counting rules and linked evidence. docs/agents/feedback-census.md
Distills the evidence into candidate automation and process checks for later cleanup steps without implementing those checks in this PR.
  • Lists nine follow-up checks covering SHA-aligned approvals, test-tool boundaries, CLI validation, verify-driver error handling, workflow metadata, bounded counts, taxonomy floors, dependency downgrades, and process cleanup identity.
  • Separates actionable candidate rules from the factual census and records what the source collection leaves out.

The census had grouped Greptile's #240 scope-compat finding under
an older-ingest-replaces-newer heading. Those are separate rules.

Sourcery assessment

Approved.

Auto-review is skipped on this repo, while a manual CodeRabbit
review still runs and is not a required gate. The two optional
#242 checker notes are now in the census.
