I build backend systems with a focus on performance, maintainability, clean architecture, databases, and real-world engineering constraints.
My main stack is C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Docker, and REST APIs.
I enjoy working on systems where architecture, concurrency, database design, testing, and performance actually matter.
- Computer Science student at Palestinian Technical University – Khadoorie
- Backend-focused developer specializing in .NET and ASP.NET Core
- Experienced with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Docker, REST APIs, automated testing, CI, concurrency, and performance optimization
- Interested in software architecture, distributed systems, backend performance, observability, and database design
- Comfortable working with Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, CQRS, design patterns, and asynchronous programming
- Based in Palestine
Completed a structured software engineering internship covering:
- Git and collaborative development workflows
- Functional programming with Python
- AI agent development in Python
- TypeScript
- HTTP clients and servers
- SQL and relational database fundamentals
- Docker and containerized applications
- Multiple hands-on engineering projects
- A performance-focused final backend project
During the program, I built projects including a Python AI agent, TypeScript Pokedex, blog aggregator, HTTP client/server applications, and a high-throughput log ingestion system as the internship final project.
Foothill Technology Solutions Internship Final Project
A performance-oriented backend system for ingesting, storing, querying, aggregating, and retaining large volumes of structured logs.
Tech: .NET 10 · ASP.NET Core · PostgreSQL 17 · Docker · Testcontainers · xUnit · k6 · Prometheus
- Designed using Clean Architecture with clear separation between application, domain, infrastructure, and API concerns
- Implemented batch ingestion with per-entry validation
- Built combinable filtering by service, level, time range, attributes, and message content
- Implemented cursor-based / keyset pagination
- Added time-bucketed aggregations and grouped queries
- Designed partition-based log retention
- Built a bounded producer-consumer ingestion pipeline
- Used PostgreSQL binary COPY and approximately 5,000-row group commits
- Added pre-aggregated minute rollups for fast analytical queries
- Added 100 automated tests using xUnit and Testcontainers
- Integrated CI contract validation and Prometheus metrics
Under the required application limits of:
- 0.5 CPU
- 256 MB RAM
the system achieved approximately:
- 14,999 logs/second ingestion throughput
- ~2 ms p95 aggregation latency
- 96.7 / 100 on Foothill Technology Solutions' standardized final-project benchmark
