What This Changes

  • supports Folia scheduling while keeping the same JAR loadable on Spigot
  • replaces the Paper-only version lookup with the common Bukkit API
  • adds regression tests that prevent Folia- or Paper-only API references from leaking into classes loaded on Spigot
  • updates the README with Paper, Folia, and Spigot installation wording and a tested WorldEdit/FAWE compatibility table

Players keep using the normal //copy, //cut, and //paste workflow. No additional commands or configuration are required for Folia or Spigot.

Verification

Server Editor Result
Folia 1.21.11 build 14 WorldEdit 7.4.1 8-block copy, reconnect restore, and paste succeeded; no region-thread errors
Spigot 1.21.11 build 4598 WorldEdit 7.4.1 8-block copy, reconnect restore, and paste succeeded
Folia 1.21.11 build 14 FAWE 2.15.3 FAWE was rejected because its plugin metadata does not declare Folia support
Spigot 1.21.11 build 4598 FAWE 2.15.0-2.15.3 FAWE failed during its own platform-adapter initialization
  • mvn -q clean verify: 43 tests, 41 passed, 2 opt-in integration tests skipped
  • bytecode inspection confirms that only the lazy Folia bridge references Folia scheduler types
  • Mineflayer observed no Action Bar messages during copy, restore, or paste; this PR does not add a progress indicator

The FAWE failures are documented as current FAWE platform limitations. The README directs Folia and Spigot users to WorldEdit, which completed the full workflow on both servers.
