Messages used a down-arrow glyph where the other conversation composer uses an up-arrow. Use the same SVG and shared circular composer styling, including the 44px target and mobile icon size. Preserve direct-message delivery, pending and retry behaviour, accessible labels and the separate Latest message navigation.
Validation: 42 targeted tests passed across message send/retry, reply context and exchange-view suites; changed-module static lint and diff checks passed. Production Messages JS/CSS passed synthetic Playwright checks at 390px and 1280px, including icon parity with the chat template, circular target, one successful send and navigation without sending. Screenshots inspected; evidence retained in the task worktree at
.run/message-up-arrow/.Authenticated live acceptance was not performed. This bounded visual change does not add chat turn steering/queue APIs to direct messages. No deployment requested.
