Hi, I'm Riki, a second-year Software Engineering student at the University of Ottawa, interested in data science, AI innovation, and software engineering. I am a tech-savvy and aspiring software engineer in training, with a background in data analysis, AI model development, and full-stack development, as well as web design and marketing.

I recently completed a work-term as a Junior Data Scientist with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) and was part of the Data Analytics Team responsible for the maintenance and development of the Business Benefits Finder app.

I volunteer as a President for the uOttawa Japanese Student Association (JSA), Communications Advisor with the uOttawa Software Engineering Student Association (SESA), and as an Assistant Webmaster with the Ottawa Japanese Community Association (OJCA/OJCC). Previously, I served as the elected Communications Lead for SESA.

I have also volunteered as a Youth Program Coordinator with 51 Air Cadets, a Fundraising Volunteer for the Royal Canadian Legion, an Assistant Band Director for the Joint Cadet Music Program, and a Social Media Designer for Code Youth.
