I build tools that replace paper forms, messy Excel files, and long email chains.

Right now I'm a digital transformation consultant for two companies in Cairo, ORCA for Shipping and Delivery and GIA. At ORCA I built a container tracking portal for clients and moved HR, Finance, and Logistics onto Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. I also look after the team's day-to-day IT.

Before that I spent 12 years in humanitarian work in Gaza with the Norwegian Refugee Council and International Medical Corps, where I built a fleet management system and ran communications for a field hospital during the war. I started out as a journalist at AFP.

These days most of my side projects are websites and web apps built with AI coding tools. That's mostly what you'll find here.

Patient flow for a six-tent emergency field hospital: registration and triage, tent queues, lab and X-ray requests, theatre, a 50-bed ward, and discharge. It works with no internet and installs on a phone like an app. Built from what I saw at IMC's field hospital in Gaza.

Designed for real use inside Microsoft 365: staff sign in with their organisation's work email, every action is recorded against that email, and the data lives in Microsoft Dataverse, with Power Automate for alerts and Power BI for reports. Most of my Power Platform work belongs to the organizations I've worked for, so the code isn't public. Highlights:

• Container tracking portal (ORCA): 40+ clients a month follow their containers and download invoices, shipping documents, and reports.
• HR & Finance automation (ORCA): recruitment, onboarding, leave, and payroll records in one system. 40% less manual work.
• Fleet management system (IMC): electronic logbook, driver attendance, maintenance reports, and an AI-assisted movement plan for 30+ vehicles a day across Gaza, Jerusalem, and the West Bank.
• Field hospital patient tracking (IMC): inpatient and outpatient case tracking during the war, built with the M&E team.
