AWS CLI Custom Virtual Private Cloud with Application Load Balancer, Auto Scaling Group, and Amazon RDS
Project Goal: Build and validate an AWS High Availability infrastructure entirely through AWS CLI, VS Code, and Linux without using the AWS Console.
Built a custom AWS High Availability VPC using VS Code, Ubuntu Bash (WSL), and AWS CLI.
The environment includes:
- Custom Amazon VPC
- Public and Private Subnets
- Internet Gateway
- NAT Gateway
- Application Load Balancer (ALB)
- Auto Scaling Group (ASG)
- Amazon EC2
- Amazon RDS
- IAM Roles and Instance Profiles
- AWS Systems Manager Session Manager
No AWS resources were deployed through the AWS Console.
Every component was created, configured, validated, and troubleshot using AWS CLI commands executed from a Linux terminal in VS Code.
The most rewarding part of the project was using AWS Systems Manager Session Manager from the terminal to securely access private EC2 instances without SSH and without relying on the AWS Console.
