2. 关于项目名称 / About the Project Name

本项目名称为 MacOS-TSKMGR。这不是拼写错误，只是我个人觉得这样写更对称一些，同时也能尽量减少与原产品名称的直接关联。

The project is named MacOS-TSKMGR. This is not a typo. I chose this name simply because it feels more visually symmetrical, and it also helps avoid unnecessary association with the original product.

3. 关于维护 / Maintenance Expectations

本项目本质上是一个心血来潮做出来的偶发性作品，我没有长期维护的计划。如果你觉得代码里有不少问题，欢迎直接 fork、提 PR，或者按你的想法继续改造。

This project started as a spontaneous passion project, and I do not plan to maintain it indefinitely. If you believe the code has issues or can be improved, feel free to fork it, open a PR, or modify it however you like.

4. 关于硬件与机型适配 / Hardware and Model Limitations

由于我手头只有一台 Mac mini M4，所以我无法对所有 Mac 机型进行完整识别和验证。很多兼容性问题，只能依赖大家反馈上来的截图和测试结果，一点点尝试修复。

举个例子，如果不是 B 站网友和 QQ 群友给我发来了 M5 Pro / Max 的截图，我甚至都不知道新一代 SoC 的核心划分已经从 P+E 变成了 S+P。

I only have access to a Mac mini M4, so I cannot fully verify behavior across all Mac models. Many compatibility fixes rely on screenshots and feedback submitted by users.

For example, if Bilibili users and friends from the QQ group had not sent me screenshots of the M5 Pro / Max, I would not even have known that the newer SoC design had shifted from P+E to S+P.

5. 关于系统版本支持 / Version Compatibility

目前本项目的大部分 API 依赖于 macOS 12 及以上版本。如果继续向下兼容，部分特效和界面实现大概率都需要重写。

仓库里有一个我之前借助 GPT 降级并编译出来的 macOS 11+ 分支，但那个版本已经比较老了，后续大概率也不会继续更新。如果你对这部分感兴趣，可以自行 fork 后继续研究。

至于 macOS 10.15及以下版本，如果要认真适配，基本意味着大量界面都要用 Objective-C + AppKit 重写。我之前尝试过迁移，但效果并不理想。

At the moment, most of the APIs used by this project target macOS 12 and later. If compatibility with older versions is required, some visual effects and UI implementations would likely need to be rewritten.

There is a macOS 11+ branch that I previously downgraded and compiled with GPT, but that branch is already quite old and will probably not continue to receive updates. If you are interested, you are welcome to fork it and continue working on it yourself.

As for macOS 10.15 and earlier, a proper port would likely require rewriting large parts of the interface in Objective-C + AppKit. I have tried that route before, and the results were not very good.
