Clean source installation previously emitted a wheel without the dashboard. Standard package builds now compile missing assets with the pinned Bun/frozen lock or fail with prerequisite guidance; editable dependency setup keeps frontend compilation explicit. Nested workstation state is excluded from sdist, and installation examples select the fork channel.
Partial audit cover INSTALL-06/07/08; historical wheel/sdist version drift is documented, not overwritten. Owning deployment-installation spec/context are synchronized with the archived Docker/package/editable changes; issues-check.md records the independent audit.
Validation: 2016 focused local Python tests, strict 68 specs, full Ruff/ty, actual public pip/uvx/uv tool installs and an immutable published Git install. Windows diagnostic 36905440811 passed on source 4dce722. This does not replace full PR CI or authorize release publication.
No new runtime setting, README section, dashboard nav item or CHANGELOG edit. Audit root file is explicitly allowed by the root-entry budget; numeric budgets are unchanged.
