Describe your suggestion
Make it so that the "MekaSuit Helmet" quest warns the player that the base energy storage capacity has been reduced from 6.4 MFE to 1 kFE, and that they should build a "Player Transmitter" to keep it powered.
Why would you like this added/changed?
In #353, MekaSuit power costs were altered.
MekaSuit power costs altered heavily. Each armor piece holds significantly less FE, requiring the player to keep it charged via Player Transmitters. Certain damage costs are high relative to the amount stored. Some being higher than can be stored without 4+ power upgrades, thereby requiring upgrades to really work well. Charge Rates are also reduced, creating an actual bottleneck to keeping the suit powered, allowing it to potentially be drained when under heavy assault.
Figuring out that the base suit can't even power an elytra unit for a single tick, and a fully upgraded suit runs out of power after gliding for about a minute or so, was a feel bad moment.
If the "MekaSuit Helmet" quest were to warn the player that the suit's energy cap was lowered, and that Player Transmitters are the expected solution to that problem, there would have been no feel bad moment.
