🏈 Gridiron Countdown

The ultimate NFL stat-counting daily puzzle game.

Gridiron Countdown is a daily football puzzle game where you count down from massive statistical targets (Passing Yards, Sacks, Interceptions, etc.) to exactly 0 using legendary NFL players.

🎮 How to Play

  1. Select a Goal: Every day, a new statistical category is chosen (e.g., "Count down 50,000 Passing Yards").
  2. The Penalty Flag: Your first player must satisfy the daily opening rule (e.g., "Must be a Wide Receiver" or "Must have played for the Cowboys").
  3. Draft Your Roster: Search for any NFL player. Their career stats in the current category will be subtracted from the total.
  4. Manage Your Timeouts: You get 3 Timeouts. If a player's stats take you over the remaining total, or if you violate the opening rule, you lose a Timeout.
  5. The Hail Mary: Down to your last Timeout? Use the Hail Mary button for a 2x stat multiplier—but if you bust, it's game over!
  6. The Two-Minute Warning: Within 20% of the goal, you enter the Red Zone. The field turns red, and the pressure is on!
