Clara is an AI-powered personal assistant designed to help you manage your everyday work and life through a simple conversation.
Just chat with Clara and ask her to help. She can assist with tasks such as email, calendars, documents, research, presentations, and coding.
Clara is being built as an open-source personal assistant that connects with you personally and helps you get things done. With your permission, Clara can connect to the services you use every day.
The Android mobile app is the first platform planned for Clara.

Clara is being developed with a growing set of skills, including:

With your permission, Clara will be able to work with services such as:
- Gmail
- Google Calendar
- Google Drive
- Google Tasks
- And many more
Clara will only access connected services when you grant permission.
If you choose to give Clara continuous microphone access, she may listen for useful context throughout your day. At the end of the day, Clara could suggest tasks, reminders, or follow-ups based on things you mentioned and may have forgotten.
Voice access will always be optional and should be enabled only when you are comfortable with it.
During the initial stages, Clara will use API keys from different large language model providers, including:
- OpenAI
- Anthropic
- Google Gemini
- Other providers as the project grows
You will provide your own API key for the providers you want to use.
Clara is a large open-source project, and we welcome contributors, ideas, feedback, and new skills.
