Hi, I've just finished listening to your JavaOne '11 talk about X-Ray and came across this repository.
I was able to compile and package everything. I'm using Java 8 and Wildfly 8.1
deploy.sh for services successfully deployed
deploy.sh for satellite gave some hazelcast errors.

Is there a walkthrough / getting started guide on how to bring this application to life?

Hi Chook,

thanks for trying X-Ray. The current version in this repository does not reflect my JavaOne 11 talk any more. I used JPA at the beginning, then migrated to Hazelcast / lambdas. Also, I deleted all the Scala tests -- I lost the patience with the long compile times.

I plan to implement some changes in the next few weeks and will implement some system tests as well.

X-ray comes with REST API only. There is no UI so far.

Can you please elaborate a bit on what projects I need to deploy / what is the REST endpoint to make sure it's online? should I just run the JMeter load test?

Open the project with netbeans, then open the REST services folder. NetBeans rocks :-)
