1. Information We Collect

What we collect depends on how you use the Marketplace — browsing
requires nothing at all; buying, selling, referring, or applying as
Support staff each require progressively more.

1.1 Provided Directly by You

Account details: full name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash — we never see or store your actual password), phone number

Store details, if you're a Creator: store name, description, logo, business/tax information you choose to add

Payout details, if you're a Creator or Affiliate: bank account or payout method information, used solely to send you money you've earned

Identity verification documents, if you apply to become a Support Agent: government ID (front and back), a selfie for identity matching, and proof of address

Messages, files, and images you send through live chat with Support or with UYEH TECH staff

Product content, if you're a Creator: files, images, and descriptions you upload for sale

Anything you type into a contact form, review, or coupon/order note

1.2 Collected Automatically

Device and browser information, IP address, approximate location (used mainly to set a sensible default currency)

Pages visited, actions taken, and referral link clicks (for Affiliate tracking)

Cookies and local storage data — see Section 4

1.3 From Payment Processors

When you pay for a product, request a payout, or pay a coupon activation
fee, our payment processors (Paystack and Flutterwave) handle your card
or bank details directly. We receive confirmation of the transaction
(amount, status, a transaction reference) but we do not
receive or store your full card number, CVV, or banking password at any
point.

4. Automated Decision-Making & Fraud Detection

We use automated systems to help detect fraud and abuse on the
Marketplace — for example, unusual referral link activity, suspicious
coupon usage patterns, or payment behavior that resembles a chargeback
risk. These systems may automatically flag an account or transaction for
review, or in some cases temporarily restrict an action (such as a
payout) while a flag is investigated by a human. Automated flagging is
not the final word: any suspension or termination decision made as a
result of a flag is reviewed by a person before it is finalized, and you
can always contact Support (Section 18) to ask about or challenge a
decision that affected you.

already seen the newsletter popup, and cart contents — this stays on your

function without them (you'd be logged out on every page load). Analytics
