Description of issue

There are no arm64 binaries in the formulae newer than big sur for vscodium, there are up to date intel ones though and the binaries are available in the project's github releases.

Where are you seeing that the binaries are unavailable?
Running brew install vscodium on a modern arm-based Mac will install the latest version of vscodium.

https://formulae.brew.sh/cask/vscodium#default <- says here that there are no arm64 binaries for anything newer than big sur.
I've run brew install --cask vscodium and while it installs I still get an intel version.
That being said, running brew install vscodium does however install the arm64 binaries which is a tad confusing seeing as the aforementioned url explicitly states that one should use --cask.
Maybe this is a documentation issue but thanks for pointing me in the right direction nevertheless :)

What you need to look at is "Current version" not "Versions" table. Anything covered by former is not repeated in table. For vscodium, "Current version" covers arm64 Monterey and newer.

seems like --cask picked the right version this time, could it be that i had the intel version installed previously and brew just kept going without chaning arch?
