Building on Fedora 45 (Rawhide) system fails with compiler errors

Howdy,

I'm trying to build Eterm on this Fedora 45 (Rawhide) system. Both the provided gcc AND a locally built (Experimental) gcc are flagging errors. Apparently they're "tightening" the "laws" for C and C++. Sigh.

I'm attempting to provide a complete build log to show the errors that are generated.
