Panel close button doesn't do anything

Yes, its an annoying bug and I have to switch live preview off to hide the panel instead

The close button is working fine now, but how do I make it re-appear after closing? without having to actually reload the live preview session?

@peey: That is probably the reason, why Dennis didn't implement this to begin with. I have added a menu entry in the Navigate menu that should let you toggle the console whenever you like. Hope this will resolve your issue.
