pantalaimon.conf defines a local Pantalaimon proxy profile for a remote Matrix homeserver. It records the homeserver and local listener settings and explicitly disables Pantalaimon’s system-keyring integration.
The audited machine has ~/.config/pantalaimon symlinked to this directory, so
the standard ~/.config/pantalaimon/pantalaimon.conf consumer path resolves to
the tracked file. The Pantalaimon executable was not installed during this
audit, and application-level activation could therefore not be checked.
This is hand-maintained configuration, not an export. After changing the profile, first confirm that the directory link still resolves here. When Pantalaimon is installed, start it normally and verify both the local listener and a Matrix client connection; file shape alone does not prove either.
No password, access token, or private key is tracked. Because keyring use is disabled, this file does not by itself establish where runtime credentials are stored. Listener and TLS changes still affect the security boundary, so review them as network-facing changes rather than treating them as cosmetic options.
