AI skills and configuration

My skills, instructions, hooks and supporting tools for Codex and Claude Code. They cover software development, writing, research, and maintaining my Emacs and macOS environment.

The bibliography policy is the shared source for work/edition selection, metadata acceptance and book PDF requirements used by both runtimes.

Skills

The skill list describes each skill and links directly to its Codex and Claude Code sources. It brings global and project-local skills together in one alphabetical list, excluding archived and private skills.

The collection includes code review and debugging, documentation and writing, research and bibliography workflows, and Emacs and macOS maintenance.

To use a skill, start with its SKILL.md and the setup it references. Some skills are self-contained procedures; others depend on my dotfiles, local commands or private configuration.

Configuration

The tool overviews explain installation, settings and how the files become active:

  • Codex: instructions, skills, hooks and configuration.
  • Claude Code: instructions, skills, hooks and configuration.

The instruction placement guide explains which rules belong in project instructions, skills, hooks or reference files. The shared configuration guide covers directory layout, synchronization, publication guards and verification.

Hooks and supporting tools

Hooks enforce workflow rules; command-line helpers provide the integrations used by skills and configuration. Their indexes describe each component:
