Node.js 20 is nearing 'End of Life'

We are moving the End-of-Life date of Node.js 20, still with the newest version of the copilot-cli, generated Lambdas still use Node.js 20 which is EOL.

AWS Health also notifying on the Copilot lambdas

We are ending support for Node.js 20.x in Lambda on April 30, 2026. This follows Node.js 20.x End-Of-Life (EOL)

Looks like it's the CertificateValidationFunction, DNSDelegationFunction, etc.. This previous PR upgraded to 20: https://github.com/aws/copilot-cli/pull/5583/changes

Since this issue has not been resolved, I performed the version update using a YAML patch override.

Will try the YAML patch override but an official solution would be appreciated! Looks like the PR is already there and just needs to be reviewed and merged.
