              <h2 id="method-title">Evidence from code and connections.</h2>
              <p>Android combines DNS-based network analysis with tracker-library analysis. Network results show actual destinations contacted while an app runs; code results show software that may be present without being activated.</p>
              <p>Both approaches make the companies and purposes behind tracking easier to understand, while keeping the limits of each kind of evidence visible.</p>

              <p>Android TrackerControl processes monitored traffic on your device and does not intercept SSL/TLS connections. Optional remote VPN routing changes where allowed traffic exits; it is clearly separate from the on-device analysis.</p>
