Getting errors adding in the meshia unity package

Trying to add this into my project, but I'm being given a bunch of errors about the directory and unallowed characters :( I already have the VPM Repository on my project, but the unity package won't upload and I can't use the tool.
Any help would be appreciated!

Hey @SevenAkridge, seems like Unity is trying to import the tool internal files directly into your Assets folder. I suppose that VPM is dragged and dropped like a standard asset which is the probable cause of the problem.

First, delete incorrectly imported files (meshia and everything related to it from Assets).

Then you've got two options actually, do what is easier for you:

Option 1: Since you already have the VPM Repository on your project, open the VRChat Creator Companion. Click Manage Project on your current project, scroll down your package list to find Meshia Mesh Simplification and click the + button to let VCC install it properly.

Option 2: If you are trying to install a downloaded folder directly, go to Window > Package Manager in Unity. Click the + icon in the top left, select Add package from disk..., navigate into your downloaded Meshia folder, and select the package.json file. This is just default UPM package, so this would work easily too.
