Roadmap Proposal: Evolving MemOS Together

Hi everyone,

As MemOS continues to evolve, this thread will serve as a collaborative, flexible roadmap to help guide our efforts while staying open to community feedback and technical iteration.

Below is an initial set of priorities, formatted as a checklist so contributors can easily track status and jump into areas of interest.

⛔ Short-Term Goals

• GitHub Issues (https://github.com/MemTensor/MemOS/issues)
• Resolve all in-code TODO comments (searchable via Ctrl+F)
• Improve unittest coverage across modules
• Mitigate dependency conflicts:
  • Mark non-core libraries as optional dependencies
  • Guide users to install extras manually where needed

🚧 Medium-Term Goals

• Implement parametric memory to persist user-defined values
• Optimize LoRA routing across modules

🏞️ Long-Term Goals

• Multimodal support
