RuntimeError when trying to login and change views

I think it's maybe due to things moving too quickly. If I introduce sleeps for the login to complete it doesn't happen.

Ah, yes, that is a separate issue. It is also a bug in OS X. I can make a work around, but this belongs in a new issue and should also be logged with Apple.
