How "presets" work ?

Can someone explain how the DSP preset works (in "preferences")?
If I save some settings from the superEQ ("save preset") like jazz, soft, etc., they disappear after restarting Deadbeef.

Equalizer presets are completely separate from DSP presets. You can create EQ presets in the EQ window / panel, and they're just plain files. You can just save/load from files, in a folder of your own choice.

Why do they disappear after restarting ?

1. The purpose -- just when you want to have different presets for different needs. Either different DSP plugins in each preset, or just different settings in each plugin.
2. The disappearing presets - They should not disappear after restart.. I just tried this, saved a preset, restarted, and it didn't disappear. Please check permissions in your ~/.config/deadbeef folder.
