Works with papirus-icon-theme :
Go to "preferences - plugins - gtk3 user interface" and in the field "custom status icon" write deadbeef-panel. Without .svg
Restart Deadbeef and that's all. If this can save other people time...

Deadbeef panel icons are in papirus folders and papirus-light folders (/usr/share/icons...).
